The Squam Writes Retreat is meant to give you time to work, connect with other writers, and benefit from feedback from published writers. Don’t worry about the details; we’ve taken care of everything so that you can focus on what matters: your work.
Included in your registration:
- Writing time in a stunningly beautiful natural setting
- Lodge accommodations for 4 days and 3 nights at the Rockywold Deephaven camps
- Three dinners, three breakfasts, and three lunches on-premises (can accommodate all dietary needs)
- Craft-focused workshops and discussions led by co-directors (optional)
- Pitch feedback designed to help writers stand out as fresh and exciting (optional)
- Professional critiques available for an additional cost ($75)
- The opportunity to connect with mentors and other writers at an intimate, exclusive getaway
The winner of the Golden Pond Residency, given to a mid-career published writer, will be offered a reduced rate of $595 for the entire weekend. If the chosen writer-in-residence prefers single accommodations, they are available for an additional fee.
